Weekly Update!

Hope school's going well for everyone. Update time!

This week's agenda:

Monday - LABOR DAY HOLIDAY (NO SCHOOL)

Tuesday -
  • ALL Sophomores have an assembly to attend third period. It will be held in the auditorium.
  • IB World Geography (Mr. Sutton) - The articles on the five themes of geography will be due.
  • AP Calculus BC (Mr. Bobbitt) - Homework from Chapter 1 of the Calculus book will be due.
  • AP Chemistry (Mrs. Smith) - The worksheet that was given to us on Friday regarding the reactions will be due.
  • Pre-IB Biology I (Mr. Robinson) - We will be finishing up the in-class project and turn in or go over our worksheets, sections 1-3.
  • AP Human Geography (Mr. Sutton) - The articles on the five themes of geography are due today. Be sure as always to review your notes from class.
  • Pre-IB Chemistry I (Ms. Nagel) - Questions 16-21 from page 59 are due today.
Wednesday -
  • AP U.S. History (Mr. Rose) - We will have a test on Chapters 1-5. You can prepare obviously be reading the chapters, studying your notes, and of course studying the pre-test answers. Remember to bring your pre-test question packet to class because you will be giving it back to Mr. Rose.
  • AP World History (Mr. Rose) - We have a test on Chapters 1-2. Prepare by reading the chapters, obviously. Also, the Technology Chart for Mesopotamia is due.
  • AP Biology (Ms. Bidwell) - The model lab is due today.
  • Pre-IB Chemistry I (Ms. Nagel) - The penny lab is due today. Make sure all your tables are formatted correctly and have the proper information.
  • Pre-IB Spanish I (Sra. Martelli) - We will be going over pages 3 and 4 that we did for homework.
Thursday -
  • ALL juniors have an assembly to attend fifth period. It will be held in the auditorium.
  • AP Calculus BC (Mr. Bobbitt) - We will have a test on Chapter 1 of the Calculus book. The review on Sequences and Series will also be due. Juniors, keep in mind that we will be called out of fifth period to attend the assembly, so you will be responsible for letting Mr. Bobbitt know when you're going to make up the test, be it Thursday afternoon, Friday morning, Friday afternoon, etc.
  • Doing Honest Work in College (All History Classes) - Along with a re-signing of the IB Honor Code, everyone will be taking a short multiple-choice quiz on pages 3-48 of the previously mentioned book.
  • Pre-IB Chemistry I (Ms. Smith) - There is a safety quiz that you must get an A on to do labs. To study, review the safety lab and the review sheet. Be prepared for the practical section.
  • Pre-IB Spanish II (Sra. Martelli) - We are having a quiz on the differences between SER and ESTAR. Review your notes.
  • Pre IB Spanish I (Sra. Martelli) - We will be having a test on telling time.
Friday -
  • IB Pre-Calculus (Ms. Li) - THIS TEST HAS BEEN MOVED TO TUESDAY. Homework is due then as well.
  • AP Biology (Ms. Bidwell) - We will have a test on all of the material covered so far. Be sure to review the notes you have taken, the worksheets, and your quiz.
  • AP English Literature and Composition (Mr. Murray) - We will have a quiz on vocabulary that was given out on Tuesday by the substitute. Keep in mind that vocabulary quizzes are cumulative, so be sure to review last week's vocabulary as well.
  • AP Chemistry (Mrs. Smith) - We will have a test on Chapters 3 and 4 of the textbook. You can prepare by doing the homework and practice problems. Homework will also be due at the beginning of class.
  • AP European History (Mr. Bullington) - We are having a test on the Renaissance, including Manchester's dragons, the PRAISE model, and concepts covered during lectures. Remember to carefully read over sections 5-7 in your Palmer & Colton (9th edition).
  • Pre IB Biology I (Mr. Robinson) - We will have a test on Chapter 2 of the textbook.
  • Drama I (Mrs. Brooks) - We are doing our pantomime scene today.
