Weekly Update!

This week's agenda:

Monday -

Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday - No School :)

Tuesday -
  • IB TOK (Mrs. Brooks) - Journal Entry (Who Won the Olympics?) Due today.
  • AP Biology (Ms. Bidwell) - There is a test on Chapters 22 - 25. This is including Chapter 22 and 25.
  • IB World Geography (Mr. Sutton) - The rough draft of the IA is due. Remember, the max is 1500 words. Sutton suggests apportioning the word count for each section according to how many points the section is worth. For instance, since Parts A, B, C, and E are each worth 5 marks out of 30, and Part D is worth 10 marks, then to assign the words proportionally, Parts A, B, C, and E should each get approximately 250 words each, while Part D should be reserved for approximately 500 words.

Wednesday -

  • IB English IV (Mrs. Benson) - Have part four of Crime and Punishment read.

Thursday -

Friday -

  • IB English IV (Mrs. Benson) - Essay (2-3 pages) due on Crime and Punishment: Pick a character. Examine their motivations and textual function. Describe when and how they are introduced, and the effect of their presence and actions on the plot, development of other characters, theme, and ideas of the novel. Due today.
