Weekly Update!

It's time for our two weeks of vacation to come to an end...at least it was great while it lasted.

Learning Connection is hosting a Study Skills Session: Exam Version on Wednesday, after school in the Media Center.

School will resume as usual tomorrow, with exams beginning next week. The 5th period exam will take place on Tuesday in the time slot for 4th and 5th period. Wednesday: 1st/2nd, Thursday: 3rd/4th. Friday: 6th/7th. Dismissal is at 12:00 p.m. from Wednesday through Friday.

Some things to prepare for, other than exams:
  • IB English IV (Mrs. Peteranecz) - Individual oral presentations begin January 7th: Click the appropriate links for the Schedule and Instruction Packet. Material covered: Yeats ("Adam's Curse," "The Wild Swans at Coole," Easter 1916," "The Second Coming," and "Sailing to Byzantium"), Frost ("After Apple Picking," "Out-Out," "Birches," "Design"), Hamlet, and Heart of Darkness. Autumn McConnico created guides on the Yeats and Frost, as well as a summary of Hamlet, which are accessible via the Document Index. The Assessment Criteria are also accessible via the Index.
